I Told Her She Didn't Belong There

Once, I told someone something she wasn't expecting to hear.

"I don't think you belong here."

She laughed it off. Thought I was just being kind.

But I meant it. I could see something in her she couldn't see in herself yet. A potential she'd buried under everyone else's needs. A life she hadn't dared to imagine.

I didn't push. I just said — try one small step. The smallest possible step. See what happens.

She did.

What happened next changed her life completely.

She never told me. I found out another way.

And I sat with that quietly — no bitterness, no need for credit. Because that was never the point.

The point was this — I saw it. She believed it. She did the work.

I can see the potential. But the person needs to take action. It's their effort. Not mine. ~TheSoftWarriorDiaries~

This is why I do what I do. If you've ever felt like you're capable of more but can't quite see it yet — you're exactly who I'm here for. 🤍
